For every visit in Burgundy the Château de Meursault is a must for history and wine lovers. Its beautiful cellars, contain up to 800 000 bottles and more than 2 000 barrels. Situated in the heart of the vineyards the Château owns 60 ha of vines in the Côte de Beaune region, with prestigious appellations such as Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Beaune, Pommard, Volnay, Puligny and, of course, Meursault. The visit offers a wine tasting of seven wines from the domain.
Admission fee: 15 €
Opening times: Winter season(November 1 to March 30): Open everyday from 9.30am to 12am and 2.30pm to 6pm
Summer season(April 1 to October 31): Open everyday from 9.30am to 12am and 2.30pm to 6.30pm
Closed from December 21, 2010 to January 4, 2011.
Ticket is valid from January 4, 2010 to February 28, 2011 at the above mentioned opening hours, except from 20 November to 21 November 2010 (weekend of the Wine Auction).
