Château de Pommard opens its doors to the public and invites you to discover three centuries of history, art and tasting. Enjoy the Château's beautiful French style gardens and in the courtyard discover the famous statue of Saint George and the Dragon by Salvador Dali. Visit the vineyard museum and especially the impressive 17th-century wine press. But the Château's marvellous treasure lies in the heart of the captivating arched cellars of the 18th century where over 400.000 bottles and hundreds of oak casks stand in a line. The visit offers you a tasting of three wines from the Château. Length: 45 minutes. You will be given an engraved souvenir tasting-glass.
Admission fee : 18€
Opening Times: Open everyday from 9.30am to 6.30pm. Closed on 25, 26 and 31st December 2010. Ticket is valid from 01 March, 2010 to 28 February, 2011 at the above mentioned opening hours, except from 20 November to 21 November 2010 (weekend of the Wine Auction).
