From Beaune to Santenay, the Véloroute winds its way along vineyard paths and is thus the best way to discover them. It offers 20 km of mostly little vineyard paths used by winegrowers and grape harvesters. An appetising journey in the heart of Burgundy wines, passing through picturesque villages.

The véloroute is a protected and easy itinerary taking cyclists into the heart of the wine area. Admire vineyards, with tightly-planted rows, watch vintners working in the rows, have picnic lunch at a dry-stone wall or taste a wine in front of the parcel where it comes from.

The véloroute gives you an insider’s view of the Burgundian terroir: Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Puligny Montrachet, Chassagne Montrachet and Santenay. All the wine villages invite you to visit chapels, Duke of Burgundy castles, charming centres or simply stop for lunch or a coffee. Arriving at Santenay continue your tour on the Canal du Centre greenway.
